If i could be anything else in the world, an Elephant is what I'd be...

The NutShell

Me in a Nutshell.... hmmmm... this might be tricky. But let me start out by saying that I'm the type of gal who's life is hard to fit into a shell, box, space, whatever you want to call it. Born in raised in the South; Atlanta, GA to be precise. Have two sisters: A and M of which whom I adore and would totally go to the ends of the earth for them if need be. We have become really really close over the years. My parents seperated about 6 ish years ago, it was a really messy divorce. It might not be the wrong to say that it was disgustingly messy. My mom and I didnt speak much the two years after but now we have finally become close again and I am really proud to call her my Mom. As for my Dad, well, I've always been a "Daddy's girl"and will freely admit it. Granted, everyone has flaws, my father included, but who doesn't. Sometimes his flaws realllllyyyy get on my nerves but regardless I still love him to death, he is such a great man, and I will go as far as to say that he is one of my hero's.

Before my parentals divorced we live in a little but not so little town called Cobb County, which is about 20 minutes outside of Atlanta. I say "little but not so little" because yes it was a small county but everyone was always up in everyone's business. It drove me absolutely nuts! Atlanta is where I call home, but for now I'm glad to be out of there....

Right now I am a SENIOR (i cant believe it) at the College of Charleston. I'm going on my 4th year of living in the same apartment, which not a lot of ppl can say that, and I totally love my house and really sad to move out at the end of this school year. I am a Health Promotion major with a Psychology minor. The plan used to be: graduate from CofC with a health degree and then apply to Nursing or Medical school right after. I don't believe that is the plan anymore because 1. Admission into nursing and medicals schools all over the country has gotten ridiculously competitive and 2. I've always been way more street smart than book smart and most definitely don't have the GPA to get into med or nursing school. This for some reason really surprises people about me, I'm not sure why. I've always been a B/C student... maybe I just give off the smart girl vibe. I don't really know. But if everything goes to plan this year in school, I will be graduating in May with the girls/best friends in my pledge class. Oh, by the way, I am in a sorority at school. Kinda forgot to mention that before. It's a love/hate relationship. More love than hate of coarse but sometime, uhg, it just gets really annoying when some of the girls forget that a sorority is not a business... it's a sorority and supposed to be fun! But needless to say, I'd do just about anything for my sorority sisters. :) If any of yall are reading this right now... I LOVE YOU!

As for me, I'm 21 years old. Finally. A die hard University of Georgia fan. Loves anything that has to do with water; whether its hanging at the beach, surfing, wake-boarding, boating, kayaking, canoeing, sandcastles. It's actually really fitting because I'm an Aquarius, which means "The Water Carrier". I really like that. My friends call me a free spirit (hence the name), I like to think that I'm like trying to catch air with a net. I am a very loyal and loving friend, I always have your back whether your right or wrong. I love too much, I worry too much. I laugh... a lot. I love my puppy doggie, love to learn, try new things, go to new places, meet new people. I am a social butterfly to the extreme. I don't have a filter, which is sometimes unfortunate, but also sometimes really funny to myself as well as to others. My favorite color is turquoise, favorite animal is an Elephant, and favorite symbol is Om.
This is Om. In case anyone didn't know what I was talking about and thought I was a crazy person. Which may not be all that untrue sometimes. :)
But I think thats me in a semi nutshell. Or a close as I could get it into one. Enjoy!
